When I was lucky enough to hit Malinga for a six over mid-wicket in the recent Hobart Test match, I suddenly remembered that I only needed to hit two more to record a "Century of Sixes".

With our win yesterday, we ensured that we won this series, and kept our good record intact. Many thought that with the loss through injuries of Shane Watson, Shaun Tait and Michael Hussey, we would struggle to hold off the rampant Indians who had just become World Twenty20 champions.

Here we are again, getting set to play against a young Indian team with several young players who are just trying their level best to impose themselves on us. We are the World Cup holders, and naturally every team in the world is trying to "knock us off the perch".

Well we didn't get to add the Twenty20 Woprld Cup to our trophy cabinet, and we were certainly beaten in the semi-final by a wonderful team. The Indians were red-hot, especially Youvraj Singh. What an innings he played!

This game of cricket was always going to be special, and it really did turn out to be one of the best in which I have ever played. Not one of the closest, and not one of the most exciting, but certainly one of the most satisfying.
